April is the Month of the Military Child and we encourage all students to show their support by wearing something purple to school on Friday, April 12th. If your child does not have anything purple to wear, no worries! The PTA has purple rubber bracelets for OCRS students to wear to show their support. Also, a reminder from the OCRS PTA that the Egg Hunt is happening on the OCRS playground on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 a.m. See the details below: Egg Hunt EGGstravaganza! From Mrs. Preston- Old County students have been working hard preparing for our Spring Concert next week, so I just wanted to send out a few reminders! When: Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 Where: Smithfield High School Auditorium Time: 5:30pm* *The first half begins at 5:30pm and features grades K, 1, and 2. There will be an intermission before the second half, which will start at approximately 6:30pm, and will feature grades 5, 3, and 4. Please don't hesitate to email with any questions or concerns. I can't wait to see everyone there! These young musicians are so excited to show off what they have been working on in Music.

The Smithfield High School Music Department is presenting "The Little Mermaid" this weekend in the high school auditorium. There are a number of elementary students from all four schools participating in the production, as well as many high school students, so please come out and support your friends and neighbors! Dates and times are as follows in the Smithfield High School Auditorium: Friday, March 8th at 7 PM Saturday, March 9th at 7 PM Sunday, March 10th at 2 PM Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the door. Children under 4 are $5.00
