We are excited to share with the OCRS community that one of our school paraprofessionals, Laura Gaule, has been recognized as the 2021-22 Smithfield Support Professional of the Year!
This morning we surprised Mrs. Gaule with the announcement of her award while we were outside on the playground during our daily School Meeting. Later in the day the entire school lined the hallways to celebrate and cheer for her as she walked through the school. We were all so excited for Mrs. Gaule and the students showed how much they appreciate her and what she does for our school by making posters and cards for her.
This is the second straight year that the Smithfield Support Professional of the Year was awarded to a staff member at OCRS. We are so proud and grateful for all of the OCRS staff that work hard to support our students and entire school community each and every day!
