This is the final week of school before the Holiday Break and also the last week of school in 2023. It's been a great first four months of this school year and we're looking forward to the rest of the year after everyone takes some time to relax and spend time with family and friends. We have some fun Spirit Days planned each day this week for both students and staff, so check below for all of the details!
December Spirit Days
Monday, December 18th: Merry Monday
Wear holiday colors (red, green, gold, blue, yellow) to celebrate the season!
Tuesday, December 19th: Sweater Weather
Wear an ugly holiday sweater or holiday shirt!
Wednesday, December 20th: Holiday Headgear
Wear your favorite holiday hat or headband!
Thursday, December 21st: Seasonal Socks
Wear holiday or crazy socks! For safety reasons, no slippers please!
Friday, December 22nd: Polar Express Pajama Day
Wear pajamas and cozy up to a read aloud of The Polar Express.

PTA 5th Grade Uno's Dough Raiser
The PTA 5th Grade Committee is sponsoring an Uno's Dough Raiser on Wednesday, December 20th at the Smithfield Uno Pizzeria & Grill. See the flyer below for details and support the 5th Grade!
Smithfield Community Band
The Smithfield Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a brand-new Smithfield Community Band! This new community band is open to all students and community members 14 years or older who play a concert band instrument. Let’s come together as a community as we share our common love of music, have a great time learning together, and entertain our families, friends, and neighbors at local events!
